Authorization and Data Security

As part of secure payment handling, the payment provider can request authorization when an order is submitted. The customer must be entitled to use the chosen method and provide accurate information; an unsuccessful or unverifiable payment can delay or cancel the purchase. For customer reference, Shopify and the applicable processors handle card data through their security controls, and full card numbers should never be emailed.
